A memorial service was held on Saturday for Ron Dale, who was the owner of West Coast Baseball School in Encino and helped hundreds of players through the years. He died on Feb. 24 of a heart attack. He was 47.
‘He was a coach mentor and friend to thousands of high school baseball players from all over the Southland,’ wrote one of his admirers, Sue Yerxa.
