Knesset Action

The measure passed in the Israeli Knesset, stripping one of its own members, namely Rabbi Meir Kahane, of his preferential rights as a legislator, limiting his immunity and freedom of movement for the sake of protecting the rights of the Arab settlers on Israeli soil, is an absolute outrage!

I find the Knesset’s action unfair, not because I condone his theories and policies, but for the simple reason that it was prompted by actions the rabbi has not yet committed. While citizens of those very Arab communities (on Israeli soil) whose horrendous acts of violence, sabotage and coldblooded murder, mostly against women (soldiers), children and the helpless.

Why doesn’t the Knesset pass a law to limit the Arabs’ movements and keep them within the boundaries of their own communities? If the Knesset allows itself to be hypocritical against a Zionist citizens, fanatic as he may be, why don’t they practice the same hypocrisy--democratically, of course--and vote to contain the murderous Arabs’ within their own confines?

It seems to me, the Arabs are by their own actions a far greater threat to society than Rabbi Kahane is by his words.
