Boom and Bust

There are soup kitchens throughout the country like in the ‘30s. More and more people are living and sleeping on the streets than ever before. And old people are going without proper care--to name a few of the todays ills.

But the military-industrial complex is booming and people associated with it are lining the good life.

I guess what they say is true: “There is no business like war business.”
