Chapman Downs Dominguez Hills
The Chapman College women’s basketball team, ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division 2, defeated Cal State Dominguez Hills, 71-60, Thursday night in the Hutton Sports Center at Orange.
Center Delisa Carter had game-high 20 points, 6 rebounds and 8 blocked shots to lead the Panthers, 5-0 in California Collegiate Athletic Assn. play and 16-2 overall. Guard Susan Bergendahl added 15 points for Chapman.
Sherrian Ellison had 18 points for Dominguez Hills.
