Architect Will Be First Speaker in Lecture Series
Architect John Johansen of New York will kick off the Southern California Institute of Architecture’s series of Spring, 1985 Design Forum Public Lectures on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Sci-Arc’s Studio/Auditorium, 1800 Berkeley St., Santa Monica.
Other architects in the series will include Andy Macmillan, director of the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, Thursday; Rijk Rietveld of Amerstdam, Netherlands, Feb. 6, 13, and Reynar Banham, author and historian, Feb. 26, 27.
There is no charge, and parking is available adjacent to the school.
