Anaheim Woman’s Body Found in Car
The body of a 24-year-old Anaheim woman was found in her parked car in Buena Park early Monday afternoon, and police said she appeared to be a drug overdose victim.
The woman, identified as Roberta Ruth Goode, apparently had been dead about 20 hours when her body was discovered about 1 p.m., said Buena Park police spokesman Terry Branum.
Branum said residents in the area of Camellia and Columbine streets, where the car was parked, called police to the scene because they said the car had been parked there about five days. Branum said there were no signs of foul play and that Goode’s wallet and some money in it were still in the car.
An autopsy will be performed.
