The sounds of someone kicking from inside an abandoned shed led to the discovery of an 84-year-old woman who had been abducted from her Stockton home at gunpoint and forced to write a check for an undisclosed amount of cash at a bank. A passer-by found Eva Spanos bound and gagged. The elderly victim was abducted by a woman, who pretended she was delivering flowers. Spanos was later reported in good condition at a local hospital. She is the mother of Alex Spanos, the new owner of the San Diego Chargers football team.
