Liskamm New Head of Planning at UC
William H. Liskamm, new director of the Office of Planning at UC Berkeley, will head a 10-member staff responsible for shaping and carrying out campus physical planning. He succeeds Sami Y. Hassid, emeritus professor of architecture, who served for two years as Berkeley’s first planning director.
Liskamm has been in independent architectural practice in the San Francisco area since 1963. He was the consulting architect at UC Santa Barbara through much of the 1970s and also was on the faculty at Berkeley.
