Actress Carol Lawrence, who played Maria in the original Broadway cast of “West Side Story,” will receive the 1,799th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Lawrence, who also appeared in Broadway productions of “I Do, I Do,” “Funny Girl” and “Sweet Charity,” will be given her star at 6211 Hollywood Blvd., between the stars of movie actresses Constance Cummings and Alice Brady.
