Stockman, Hospitalized Briefly, Returns Home

WASHINGTON — Budget Director David A. Stockman, hospitalized after feeling faint and becoming ill following a dinner party, was resting at home Thursday, an aide said.
Edwin Dale, spokesman for the Office of Management and Budget, said that Stockman “felt faint after a dinner party” Wednesday night. He went to a hospital and was held overnight for observation, the aide said. Stockman’s ailment was not disclosed.
