J. R. Harris Installed as Head of Orange County Architects
James R. Harris, Newport Beach, has been installed as president of the Orange County chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He succeeds Betsey Olenick Dougherty as leader of the 817-member society.
Other new officers are Brian P. Dougherty, Newport Beach, vice president and president-elect; Paul J. Ruffing, Newport Beach, secretary, and John W. McMurray, Laguna Beach, treasurer.
Three new directors also were installed. They are Howard L. Gilpin, Westminister; Terry D. Jacobson, Orange, and J. Randall Roberts, Costa Mesa.
Officers for the Associates Committee of the chapter also were installed. They are Melinda Baron, Irvine, director; Janet Cunningham, Costa Mesa, assistant director; Michelle Rene Moss, Newport Beach, secretary, and Rochelle R. Reagan, Newport Beach, treasurer.
