Santee

A Santee man was arrested Sunday in connection with the shooting death nearly a year ago of a Lemon Grove auto body shop owner and the wounding of a woman, sheriff’s deputies reported. Steven Stubbs, 34, was taken into custody about 3 p.m. near his residence in the area of Burning Tree Way and Carlton Oaks Drive. Crawford was booked at County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He was being held without bail. He is accused in the slaying of Tom Crawford, 47, and the wounding of Holly Todd, 20, in Crawford’s Skyline Drive Body Shop on March 27, 1984.
