Kings Try to Snap Losing String Tonight

CALGARY, Canada — The Kings will try to end a four-game losing streak when they play the Calgary Flames tonight at the Olympic Saddledome.
The Flames beat the Kings in the first two games of the series in Los Angeles to clinch third place in the Smythe Division.
Tonight’s game, orginally scheduled to be on Channel 9 at 6:30, will instead be shown tape-delayed at 9 because Channel 9 is carrying the NIT championship game between UCLA and Indiana live at 6.
The Kings announced Thursday that center Brian Wilks has been called up and is expected to see action tonight. Wilks had been playing with the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League, whose season ended earlier this week.
