Second Phase Scheduled for La Jolla Project
Construction is under way on Phase 2 of Regents Square, a $27-million office building by Lankford & Associates Inc., La Jolla, to complement the recently completed first phase.
The second phase, an eight-story, 153,000-square-foot building, will be located on 2.34 acres directly north and adjacent to the first phase at the northwest corner of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla.
Completion of the project, which also includes an 8,000-square-foot, two-story pavillion and below-grade parking for 500 cars, is scheduled for mid-1986, according to R. V. Lankford, president of the firm.
The architect is R. L. Davis, who also designed Regents Square I. The first phase, built by Nielsen Construction Co., cost $37 million and has 180,000 square feet on 11 floors.
