L.A. THEATER--BOOMINGS

Let’s build more theaters in L.A. But let’s also build more programs to develop writers, directors, actors and designers. We are an industry. We want to boost pedestrian economics by having a hit in your neighborhood theater. That means more work for us, too. More theaters, more jobs. But where do we go for training?

The Assistant Directors Training Program (run by the Directors Guild of America, which provides on the job training for minimal pay) is for film only. The American Film Institute is for film only. Filmex is for film only.
