Levitz Furniture’s board approved a merger pact.
LFC Holding, which already owns more than 94% of the Miami-based furniture company, will pay $39 a share for the remaining stock, or about $19 million, completing the leveraged buy-out of the company that it began last November. The merger still is conditioned on confirmation of the price as fair and on approval from Levitz shareholders.
