UCLA Wins Pac-10 Southern Division Tennis Title
UCLA clinched the Pacific 10 Conference Southern Division tennis championship Saturday by routing California, 9-0, at the Los Angeles Tennis Center in Westwood.
The Bruins (24-3 overall and 9-1 in the conference), who were ranked fourth in the nation before beating No. 1 Stanford Saturday, trounced the Bears (18-8 and 4-5) despite playing without their best player, Michael Kures, who has a sore knee.
