How much Tritia Toyota is missed on the Channel 4 newscasts. Her ladylike handling of serious news was an admired quality. The station needs her back. And, on Channel 7’s news, we have the sublime and the ridiculous. Commentator Bruce Herschenson is the sublime. He’s truly a news pro who is well informed. If he said today was yesterday, I’d believe him. Who is the ridiculous? One guess. Right! Bill Press. Every time he opens his mouth, he can be counted on to pan either President Reagan or Jerry Falwell.
