River Trip--Rio Hondo College will offer a scenic rafting trip this summer on the San Juan River in Utah. The cost is $300 for the six-day excursion and participants are responsible for providing their own camping equipment.

Over-The-Line--Southern California Over-The-Line is accepting applications for its annual Cinco de Mayo grass tournament at Cerritos High School, which begins Saturday. The cost is $21 per team, with each team guaranteed four games.

Finnish Football--Whittier College football Coach Hugh Mendez and two former players have been chosen to direct a summer football league for a team in Finland.

Mendez, who is 30-17 with two Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles as the head coach at Whittier, will be assisted in Europe by former Poet free safety Mitch Olson and former quarterback Joey Jordan. They are to arrive in Finland May 26 to prepare the Tikkurilan team of Vantaa, a community 20 kilometers from Helsinki.

League action begins in early June and concludes in mid-August.
