Boiler Explosion Kills 7

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic — A new boiler exploded in a food processing plant Wednesday, killing seven people and injuring 12, police reported. A spokesman said the accident in the northern city of Santiago occurred while engineers were installing the boiler. They said two of the engineers were among the dead.
