Management Science sold its Peachtree unit.
Management Science America said it sold the microcomputer software unit to Intelligent Systems of Norcross, Ga., for cash and notes, but it did not disclose other terms of the sale. MSA also said it retained certain Peachtree Software equipment as well as the rights to distribute certain Peachtree software. Peachtree manufactures and markets microcomputer software programs in the areas of accounting and office productivity. Its newest product, Back to Basics Accounting System, is available for most popular personal computers including the IBM personal computer family, the Apple II series and the Apple Macintosh.
