Shamrock’s offer for Central Soya has expired.
The company, led by the Roy E. Disney family, announced that the offer to acquire all outstanding shares of common stock of Central Soya expired at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Shamrock said that before the offer expired 11.9 million shares were tendered and not withdrawn. Those shares, together with the 1.5 million shares that Shamrock already owned, constitute about 96% of all outstanding Central Soya shares.
