Carl Karcher will cut expansion and food costs.
The Anaheim-based fast-food company said it will save nearly $10 million by cutting the number of new Carl’s Jr. restaurants planned for 1985 to 45 from 60. In an attempt to increase business, Karcher plans to cut the price of hamburger items by 10%.
