Certron Loses $112,000 in 2nd Quarter
Certron Corp., an Anaheim manufacturer of audio recording tapes and floppy disks, lost $112,000 in the second quarter of fiscal 1985 ending April 30, compared to a profit of $118,000 for the same period last year.
Sales of $6.2 million for the quarter were down 20% from the second quarter of 1984, which had sales of $7.8 million.
The loss was attributed to a drop in sales to the Xerox Corp. because of a reduction in demand.
