Police are looking for the driver of a 1974 Mercury involved in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday in which a 22-year-old sailor was killed. San Diego Police Department spokesman Bill Robinson said the Navy enlisted man, Kenneth R. Anderson of Bremerton, Wash., was driving a motorcycle west on Main Street in Logan Heights about 11:15 p.m. when a blue or green Mercury with the license plate 539 RUW made a left turn from the eastbound lane in front of Anderson. Robinson said the car and motorcycle collided and then the car pulled away. Anderson was died at the scene.
