ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Three cast members of the syndicated television series “Fame” were treated for minor injuries after their car was struck Monday by a hit-and-run driver, officials said.
Bancroft Fire Capt. Ron Schlotman identified the injured as Melissa Hurley, 18, of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Paula Brown, 23, of Los Angeles, and Cher Badgett, 23, who listed an undisclosed Denver address.
They were treated for minor injuries, mostly small cuts from glass particles, at Swedish Medical Center.
The three women were in Denver to perform in connection with Carousel Days, a series of events to raise money for the Children’s Diabetes Foundation.
Schlotman said their car was apparently sideswiped by a car near the Chatfield Lake State Recreational Area. The other car left the scene after the accident, he said.
