The theater complex on Zelzah Avenue will cost about $5 million and will open in March. It will seat about 2,600 in seven screening rooms, according to Larry Levin, a United Artists vice president.

He said the San Francisco-based company, the nation’s second-largest theater chain, also plans an eight-screen complex in North Hollywood within 1 1/2 years.
