Flying Tigers, the Los Angeles-based air-cargo carrier, said James A. Cronin has been named senior vice president in charge of a newly established division that will oversee domestic operations, sales and customer service functions.
Reporting to Cronin in the U.S. division will be Scott M. Niswonger, new vice president-operations, U.S. division, and the following newly appointed senior directors: Ian Jackson, operations; James C. Haggerty, sales and marketing, and Gene T. Ochi, customer service.
Western Gear Corp. has appointed Saleem S. Naber senior vice president with responsibility for corporate strategy and planning. He will be based in the firm’s Long Beach corporate offices.
Separately, the company named Edward G. Linhart vice president and general manager of the applied technology division in the City of Industry.
