Now, Let’s Hear It for Raiders, Coliseum

I was amused and amazed at the letter written by Jack Benjamin (Viewpoint, Aug. 24) on the Raider exhibition game. You can’t please a complainer. I don’t know why he didn’t go to the Dodger game in the first place. He’s not a Raider fan.

It’s not surprising to me that you printed his long, lousy, negative article about the team, the Coliseum, etc. as it’s just a reflection of your Times’ sports attitude toward the Raiders. L.A. is fortunate in having such a team representing the city.
