A panel was formed to enhance electronics trade.

Establishment of the committee was agreed upon as the Electronic Industries Assn. of Japan and the American Electronics Assn. ended talks in Tokyo this week. The panel will seek ways to lower Japan trade barriers to U.S. companies, promote U.S. electronics sales and thus reduce the trade imbalance.
