The City Council has agreed to change the stop signs at Green Lane and Robinson Street so traffic on Green must yield to vehicles on Robinson. Currently, vehicles must stop on Robinson, not on Green.

The change came at the request of Councilman Ronald Cawdrey. A study by the city engineer shows that Green carries only 34% of the traffic through the intersection. The stop sign change will take place over a 30-day period, with the city installing a temporary four-way stop at the intersection, followed by the removal of stop signs on Robinson.
