Goal by Aceituno Gives USIU 1-0 Win

Alfredo Aceituno scored 29 minutes into the first half on assists by Jeff Ward and Gary Botha as United States International University beat the University of San Diego, 1-0, in soccer action Wednesday. USIU is 6-3-1, USD 6-3-2.

Cal State Los Angeles 1, San Diego State 0--Alberto Bru scored just 30 seconds before halftime Wednesday night to give Cal State Los Angeles the victory over San Diego State in a Southwest Soccer Conference opener for both team at Cal State Los Angeles.

The victory was the Golden Eagles’ fifth straight--all by shutout. Cal State Los Angeles is now 6-2 overall while SDSU slipped to 3-4-2.
