Irvine City S&L; Posts 3rd Quarter Profit
Getting over the expense of starting up operations last year, Irvine City Savings & Loan posted a third-quarter profit of $132,992, compared with its $220,297 loss for the same quarter last year.
The S&L;, which opened its doors in June, 1984, has grown in assets to $35.1 million, from $9.7 million a year ago.
This year’s profits were attributed to Irvine City’s mortgage banking activities.
