The Region : 4 Men Shot in South L.A.
A gunman wounded four men, three of them critically, as they stood on the sidewalk outside a restaurant near the corner of Central Avenue and 42nd Street in South-Central Los Angeles, police said. Three are reported in critical condition at County-USC Medical Center and the fourth, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital. Their assailant fled in a car, officers said. The motive for the late-night shooting and the weapon used could not immediately be determined.
