Your article re: Pancho Barnes’ Happy Bottom Riding Club brought back memories of fun evenings of the late ‘40s and early ‘50s.

I was living and working at the time at U.S. Naval Ordinance Test Station. That desert became a part of me. Friday evening at Pancho’s was always looked forward to. The food was good. The company was invigorating.
