Pizza Man Slain at Motel
A 21-year-old delivery man for a pizza chain was found slain in a motel room in downtown Glendale early today, after police were led to the room by remarks made by a pair of robbers who held up a cook and clerk at the take-out restaurant where he worked.
The body of John Steven Harrigan was discovered at 1 a.m. at the Regal Lodge, Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Thate said. Harrigan had made a delivery to the motel just before a midnight robbery at the restaurant, Thate said. Police were not able to determine how Harrigan died.
