Marceau Flies Home After Moscow Surgery

MOSCOW — Marcel Marceau left a Moscow hospital to fly to France today to complete his recovery from a perforated stomach ulcer, a spokeswoman for Air France said.
The 62-year-old French mime had been performing in the Soviet Union when he became ill. He underwent emergency surgery at the Botkin Clinic on Saturday. The airline spokeswoman said a special flight was arranged for Marceau.
