The VA mortgage-loan rate was lowered again.
The government said it was dropping the maximum interest rate on federally backed Veterans Administration mortgages to 10.5%, effective today. It was the fifth cut this year and the second in less than a month. The VA also cut by half a percentage point, to 10.75%, the maximum rates for graduated payment loans.
