Most of us want to live our lives in peace and security. We get frustrated when our system of justice breaks down. Lawyers get rich dragging cases out and arguing technicalities to get their clients off. But what is really frustrating is when the judges drag out cases and search for technicalities to deny the clear intent of the electorate.

Now most of us don’t vent our frustrations by writing letters to the editor. Taking the time is one thing. Finding the right words to express our feelings is yet another. So when someone takes the time to prepare a letter for us that says it the way we feel, what is wrong with signing it and sending it to you? It certainly requires an effort and a 22-cent stamp.

Legislators and sales people send us computerized letters. The President and other politicians give speeches prepared by someone else. So why do you act like there is something wrong when 2,230 of your readers sent you a letter that tells you how they feel, even if it was computerized.
