Supreme Court Campaign
It is hard for people like me to decide how to vote for Rose Bird.
I feel she misused her position by manipulating the law to represent her own political beliefs. On the other hand, if I vote against her, it is very likely that Gov. George Deukmejian will appoint a justice that will find a way to express his and the governor’s political goals--anti-abortion, anti-birth control, etc.
It is something of a dilemma.
