Holy Rascal Rallies to Win Leland Stanford

SAN MATEO — Holy Rascal roared from last place to capture a 2 1/2-length victory Sunday in the $45,300 Leland Stanford Stakes at Bay Meadows.
With Russell Baze aboard, Holy Rascal covered the six furlongs in 1:09 1/5, returning $6.80, $4 and $3.60.
Royal Blue Eyes returned $8.80 and $4, and Days Surpassed paid $5.80 to show.
It was the ninth victory in 19 starts for Holy Rascal, which carried 115 pounds.
