Woman, 85, Drowns: An elderly Laguna Hills woman visiting her daughter in Hawaii apparently drowned after leaving family members to take a walk on the beach, according to police on the island of Maui. Emily Brenner, 85, was visiting her daughter in Kahana, on Maui’s northern end. She left her daughter’s home early Monday morning for a walk on Kahana Beach, where her body was later found, police said. There was no evidence of foul play.
