Kings, Having Won 4 of Last 5 Games, Face Penguins and an Ex-Teammate
PITTSBURGH — The Kings, who have won two straight games and four of their last five, play the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight in the third game of a five-game trip.
The Penguins beat the New Jersey Devils, 4-3, Monday night when former King captain Terry Ruskowski scored the game-winning goal with 1:37 left in the third period.
Ruskowski, who signed with the Penguins as a free agent last summer, said he’s looking forward to playing the Kings. The Kings beat the Penguins, 4-3, in overtime in a game last November at the Forum.
“Every time you play against your ex-team, it’s a big game,” Ruskowski said.
