Boston public school officials sought contempt citations and fines against 600 unionized bus drivers who defied a back-to-work court order and vowed to stay on strike. Lawyers for parents and the School Department asked Judge Thomas Morse Jr. to find the drivers in contempt. Morse set a hearing for today, but union members vowed to continue the strike regardless of how he rules. Bus union spokesmen say the drivers will not work without a contract.
