L. A. Baptist Defeats Flintridge Prep, 4-3
L. A. Baptist rallied in the second half Wednesday to take a 4-3 win over Flintridge Prep in a nonleague soccer game.
Flintridge went ahead, 2-0, on goals by Mike Rea, but Scott Ellison scored for the Knights with 10 minutes left in the half.
David Fursman tied the score with 32 minutes left in the game, but Flintridge went ahead on a goal by Greg Hall. The Knights again tied the match on a goal by John Denton and won the match when Trevor Slavick picked up a loose ball and scored.
