A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction preventing a Huntington Beach commodities firm from doing business and has appointed a permanent receiver to begin liquidating the company, U.S.A. Commodity Futures Inc.

At the request of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, U.S. Dist. Judge Irving Hill Monday named attorney Sheldon Jaffe to serve as receiver. About $191,000 remains in company accounts and each customer will probably receive about 63 cents for every $1 invested with the company, Jaffe said.
