Girl Critically Hurt in Norco Collision
NORCO — Firefighters had to cut an 8-year-old girl from the wreckage of a two-car collision Tuesday on Hamner Avenue just north of the city limits.
Adrianne Oellet of Fontana suffered head and possible internal injuries and was taken to Riverside General Hospital, where a spokeswoman said she was listed in critical condition late Tuesday.
The child was riding in a car driven by her sister, Joanne Van Hanja, 19, also of Fontana, fire officials said. Both Van Hanja and the driver of the second car, Scott Mahathey, 22, of Perris were treated for minor injuries at Corona Community Hospital.
