Pelle Lindbergh, the Philadelphia Flyers’ goalie who was killed in an auto accident last November, was voted to the Wales Conference starting team for the National Hockey League All-Star game Feb. 4 at Hartford, Conn.
Lindbergh, who received 134,982 votes in fan balloting, will be replaced as the starting goalie by Mario Gosselin of the Quebec Nordiques, who was runner-up at that position.
Defenseman Ray Bourque of Boston was the leading vote-getter. He’ll be joined in the starting lineup by left wing Michel Goulet and center Mario Lemieux of Pittsburgh, right wing Tim Kerr of Philadelphia and defenseman Rod Langway of Washington.
