Lilli Palmer Dies at 71
Lilli Palmer, an acclaimed actress, author and painter in both Europe and the United States and the former wife of actor Rex Harrison, has died, officials said today. She was 71.
The announcement was made by Forest Lawn Mortuary in Glendale, where services were planned. Spokesman Dick Fisher said details of her death were not immediately available.
Among Palmer’s films were “Cloak and Dagger” with Gary Cooper in 1945, “Body and Soul” with John Garfield in 1948 and “The Four Poster” with Harrison in 1952.
She won three Golden Globe awards and two television Emmys.
