Dehn Leads UC Irvine Women Past Hawaii

Valerie Dehn scored 17 points, 4 in the overtime period, to lead UC Irvine to a 64-61 Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. victory over the University of Hawaii in women’s basketball action Monday at UCI.

It was Dehn who made two free throws with 3:55 left in overtime to put the Anteaters (3-2 in conference, 11-7 overall) ahead for good, 55-53. Hawaii (2-3, 10-9) was led by Alex Provencio who scored 18 points.
